Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival Day – Dehradun to Sankri Village (210 km drive)

  • The drive covers 210 km over approximately 9 hours through scenic Himalayan roads.
  • Last ATM available at Purola en route.
  • Accommodation at Uttara Hikes Comfortable Homestays in Sankri.
  • Expected arrival at Sankri by evening to rest and prepare for trek.

Day 2: Sankri to Pauni Garaat via Dharkot

  • Drive 10 km from Sankri to Dharkot village, approx. 1.5 hours.
  • Trek 4 km (approx. 3 hours) from Dharkot to Pauni Garaat campsite at 7,000 ft (2,100 m) altitude.
  • Cross streams joining the Supin river along the path.
  • Packed lunch provided; overnight camping with dinner at Pauni Garaat.

Day 3: Pauni Garaat to Kalkattidhar/Boslo

  • Longer trek of 11 km with steeper ascent rewarding you with stunning meadows, waterfalls, and rich biodiversity.
  • Pass through Osla village, the last inhabited village en route to Har Ki Dun.
  • Packed lunch and multiple fresh spring water sources along the trail.
  • Overnight camping at Kalkattidhar with panoramic views and acclimatization.

Day 4: Boslo/Kalkattidhar to Har Ki Dun (6 km round trip)

  • 7-8 hour trek; easy ascent to Har Ki Dun valley followed by moderate climb to Maninda Lake.
  • Explore vibrant meadows, the Supin River course, and surrounding Bhojpatra forests.
  • Visit a beautiful waterfall on the way; plenty of fresh water sources available.

Day 5: Boslo/Kalkattidhar to Pauni Garaat via Osla (11 km trek)

  • Return trek to Pauni Garaat campsite.
  • Walk through Osla village to experience local Garhwali culture and traditions.
  • Enjoy stunning landscape views; packed lunch provided.

Day 6: Pauni Garaat to Sankri via Dharkot (Trek 4 km, 3 hrs; Drive 20 km, 1 hr)

  • Morning trek from Pauni Garaat to Dharkot.
  • Drive back to Sankri for rest and overnight stay in guesthouse.

Day 7: Departure from Sankri to Dehradun (210 km, 8-9 hours drive)

  • Conclude the Har Ki Dun trek and begin drive back to Dehradun.
  • Scenic route via Mori showcasing lesser-known but stunning Himalayan vistas.
  • Expected arrival in Dehradun by late afternoon or early evening.
  • Carry unforgettable memories of your Himalayan adventure.

Amenities: All utensils, sleeping mattresses (Black foam mats), Crampons, and Gaiters for snow.
Health & Safety: First Aid Box, Oxygen Cylinders, Stretchers, Oxi meters, BP Machines, health.
Permits: Forest Permits and Camping Permission Fee.
Trek Crew: High Altitude Chef, Helpers, Trek Leader & Guides, and other support teams.
Potters & Mules: Potters and Mules are to carry all trekking equipment, ration, and vegetables.

Exclusion

  • Any meals or accommodation outside the itinerary or not mentioned in the program.
  • Bus or airfare to and from the trek start or end point.
  • Personal medical expenses; please carry your medications.
  • Personal services such as laundry, phone calls, liquor, mineral water, etc.
  • Still and video camera fees, if applicable.
  • Mule or porter charges for carrying private baggage.
  • Emergency evacuation charges, if required.
  • Any services not mentioned in the cost inclusion section.

Cancellation Policy

  • If the cancellation is made more than 30 days prior to the start of the trek, a full refund will be provided.
  • If the cancellation is made between 15-30 days prior to the start of the trek, 50% of the trek fee will be refunded.
  • No refund will be provided for cancellations made within 15 days of the trek start date.
  • The trek fee is non-transferable and cannot be adjusted against any other trek.
  • Refunds, if any, will be processed within 7-10 working days of the cancellation request.

Note: In case of emergencies or unforeseen circumstances, the trek organizer may provide rescheduling options, subject to availability.

Booking and Payment

Book your Trip with Booking amount 1000 rupees per person. Full payment must be made at the time of PickUp.

Cancellations made 30 days before the trek start date will receive a full refund. For cancellations made within 15-30 days, a 50% refund will be provided. No refunds are available for cancellations made less than 15 days before the trek.
All participants must be in good health and fitness. Medical conditions must be disclosed during registration. The trek operator reserves the right to deny participation if a participant is deemed unfit.
The trek operator is not responsible for injuries, accidents, or loss of personal belongings during the trek. Participants undertake the trek at their own risk.
The trek itinerary is subject to change based on weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. The operator reserves the right to make necessary modifications for the safety and comfort of participants.
