My name is Ghanshyam Sharma, I am 56 years old, and in May 2026, I got the opportunity to complete one of the most memorable spiritual journeys of my life with my family.
We booked a 7 Days / 6 Nights Delhi to Delhi spiritual journey with Uttara Hikes, and our family group included my 77-year-old mother, my wife, and other family members. Before starting this journey, I was slightly concerned about how my mother would manage such a long Himalayan trip. Our journey started from Delhi, and as we entered the beautiful mountains of Uttarakhand, our first spiritual stop was Neem Karoli Baba Ashram (Kainchi Dham).
Starting this journey with blessings at Kainchi Dham felt truly special. Sitting there with my family gave us peace and positive energy for the days ahead.
After that, with the smooth planning and support of Uttara Hikes, we continued our journey toward one of my dream destinations—Adi Kailash.
The moment we reached Adi Kailash, I became emotional. Standing there with my family, especially seeing my 77-year-old mother smiling in front of the sacred mountain, was a moment I will never forget. We clicked beautiful family pictures there, and those memories will stay with us forever.
The next blessing of our journey was the darshan of Om Parvat.
Seeing the naturally formed “ॐ” symbol on the mountain with my own eyes was beyond words. It was a moment of devotion, silence, and gratitude.
After completing Adi Kailash and Om Parvat, Uttara Hikes took us to the sacred caves of Patal Bhuvaneshwar Cave Temple.
Walking through those ancient caves felt like entering another spiritual world. Every corner of the cave carried deep mythology and divine energy.
Our journey then continued toward the ancient temples of Jageshwar Temple Complex.
The peaceful atmosphere, centuries-old temples, and divine energy of Jageshwar made this experience even more special for our family.
Our final spiritual stop was Kasar Devi Temple.
From there, the Himalayan views, peaceful surroundings, and spiritual atmosphere made it the perfect ending to our family pilgrimage.
Looking back, I feel grateful that I chose Uttara Hikes for this journey. From transportation to stays, route planning to family comfort—everything was managed professionally.
This journey taught me one thing: age is never a barrier when faith, family, and the right travel team are with you.
